Amongst the many highlights, I particularly enjoyed was the frustration expressed by the viola player when she found herself alone on stage. The violinists can show off their flying fingers ; even the base player can get more attention. When the rest ganged up on her as she started into a really heavy piece of Hindemith who could not sympathise with her.

For smaller events Bertie has a more intimate performance, which is ideal as an after dinner cabaret show. 'Love Sick Jazz' is a lighthearted performance featuring some well know and also some lesser known jazz classics. The theme of the show is the many ailments of love.
