Midnight Quartet

With upright bass, piano and drums, and an effortless female vocal, the midnight sound is cool jazz. Playing tunes that span five decades and include bossa nova, swing, disco, funk and hip hop, all played in a cool jazz style, their repetoire extends far beyond the confines of the usual jazz ensemble.

The sound is mellow for background dinner music, but by cranking up the volume and playing the up-beat side of their set, they can also get you dancing should your occasion require.

Playlist

We're pretty flexible. We've played at weddings, corporate functions, conferences. Midnight Quartet has played at all sorts of events. Looking for a jazz band for your wedding? A dance band for your party? Some background music for a conference? A lot of people want us to start with something mellow, some classic jazz. Frank Sinatra, Nina Simone, George Gershwin, Cole Porter, you name it, we play it. If you have any favourites or something special for a first dance, let us know and we can prepare it for you.
