Minstrels

Specialising in medieval and renaissance music.

They perform in both contemporary and authentic period costume and between them play over 40 different early instruments

Based around husband and wife team Tony and Jane, the group is often augmented by other regular players to form a trio, quartet or even a nine piece band. They embrace music from the courts of Medieval Europe to the Palaces of Tudor England, from village festivities to the stage of William Shakespeare.
