The ‘Sub’s’ were formed in 1998 by guitarist, Mark Roberts. The bands ‘daytime job’ is to perform with Hazel O’Connor when she tours. Consisting of major session musicians and experienced performers, to say the band are talented, would be a massive understatement.

The band consist of:

Mark Roberts (Guitars), Mark has appeared on the Chris Evans Radio 1 breakfast show, TFI Friday, and played the Glastonbury and Phoenix festivals.

Anthony Harty (Guitars), Anthony, former bass player with Paul Weller’s style council, more recently played guitar on the Grammy award winning album ‘Jamaican ET’ by Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry.

Tony Dangerfield (Vocals), a singer renowned for this vocal talents, Tony fronted the respected Wonderland and has also worked with friends like Ocean colour scene.

Kevin Lomas (Bass) also worked in wonderland, residents at London’s famous Marquee club. He has also performed with Roy Wood, 2Tone collective and the Rocking berries.

Steve Tombs (Drums) has performed with many bands including appearances at the Glastonbury and Phoenix festivals.

Their music is wide and varied from, A-Ha, Beatles, Blondie, Blur, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, Coldplay, Crowded house, David Bowie, David Grey, Fleetwood Mac, Keane, Man at work, Ocean Colour Scene, Queen, REM, Radiohead, Reef, Robbie Williams, Rod Stewart, Rolling Stones, Tom Jones, U2, Van Morrison and many more.
